How to get an install: What triggers and emotions to use in your ads!

If you want people to install your game, you first need to make them aware that your game is worth playing.

Here are 4 market-standard triggers to ensure creative success:

1. Trends

Using popular and mainstream topics will connect the viewer to certain trends.

Check social media and other resources for pop-culture-trends to find fitting themes for your creatives.

2. Failure

Showing off bad skills will motivate the viewer to think that he can do better.

Also it’s always funny to see somebody stumble and fail. 

3. Winning

Completing a puzzle or a challenge can be satisfiyng, especially with ASMR involved. 

For example: drawing a perfect circle or finding the last puzzle piece will give the user satisfaction!

4. Streaming / Voice Over

Adding voice-over to the gameplay will create the illusion of someone playing in real time.

This person can react in specific ways to the gameplay and even speak directly to the viewer.
